Newfangled Audio Mastering Bundle – Elevate, Equivocate & More

Finishing a track is one thing; finishing it so it holds up next to commercial releases is another. The Newfangled Audio Mastering Bundle is a four-plugin suite built for that final stretch, combining an adaptive limiter, a hearing-curve EQ, a spectral saturator and a smart transient shaper in one package. Every processor was designed by Dan Gillespie — the DSP engineer behind much of Eventide’s modern catalog — and they share one philosophy: handle the complicated math under the hood, and show you clearly what’s happening on screen.

What is inside the Newfangled Audio Mastering Bundle

Elevate is the centerpiece: an adaptive mastering limiter that listens to your mix in real time and adjusts its gain reduction across the frequency spectrum, so loudness builds evenly instead of pumping in one range. Equivocate rethinks EQ — rather than stacking traditional bell filters, it shapes tone along the natural contours of human hearing, which keeps broad tonal moves sounding musical instead of phasey or harsh. Saturate adds harmonics spectrally, so you can warm up the low end without grit creeping into the highs. Punctuate completes the set with transient shaping that responds to your material, letting you add snap to drums or soften aggressive attacks without touching the body of the sound.

Who the Newfangled Audio Mastering Bundle is for

If you master your own releases — or want your mixes to translate before sending them out — the Newfangled Audio Mastering Bundle covers the four jobs that matter most: loudness, tone, warmth and punch. Electronic, pop, hip-hop, rock and cinematic producers all get the same benefit: a mastering chain that stays transparent when you push it. It also suits mixing engineers who want a dependable limiter and tone-shaping tools on the master bus without auditioning half a dozen separate plugins.

Tech specs and compatibility

The Newfangled Audio Mastering Bundle runs as VST3, AU and AAX (64-bit) on macOS 10.9 or later and Windows 10 or later, and the full install is around 400 MB. It loads in every major DAW — FL Studio, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Reaper and Cubase included — and sits comfortably on the master bus of a finished mix. Authorization is straightforward: no iLok dongle, no subscription, no internet connection required. Your purchase includes a step-by-step install guide, and updates are provided whenever the developer releases them.

Newfangled Audio Mastering Bundle FAQ

Do I need all four plugins, or can they work separately?

Each plugin in the Newfangled Audio Mastering Bundle works on its own, so you can reach for just the limiter or just the EQ in a mixing session. They are simply designed to complement each other when you run the full mastering chain.

Will Elevate crush my dynamics if I push loudness?

That is exactly what its adaptive processing is built to avoid. Instead of applying the same gain reduction everywhere, Elevate adjusts across the spectrum in real time, which keeps transients and dynamics intact at competitive loudness levels.

Does the bundle work without an internet connection?

Yes. Once installed and authorized, the plugins run fully offline — no iLok, no subscription check-ins, no internet needed.
