Orange Tree Samples Bundle – Realistic Guitars & Basses

Convincing virtual guitars are one of sampling’s hardest problems — and the reason Orange Tree Samples has such a loyal following. The Orange Tree Samples Kontakt Bundle collects the company’s Evolution series of guitars and basses into one package: deeply sampled instruments with the scripting intelligence to play like a guitarist, not a keyboard. Strums fall naturally across strings, bends and slides articulate properly, and chord voicings land where a real player’s hand would put them.

What is inside the Orange Tree Samples Kontakt Bundle

The electric guitars include Evolution Vintage Gent (hollowbody with classic British rock character), Evolution Strawberry (versatile workhorse for pop, funk and rock), Evolution Rock Standard (powerful single-cut), Evolution Django Jazz (gypsy-jazz swing tone), Evolution Infinity (studio-grade guitar for ambient and cinematic textures) and Evolution Baritone Electric (low-tuned for dark, heavy parts). Acoustic and folk instruments feature Evolution Jumbo 12 (shimmering 12-string), Evolution Clawhammer Banjo (authentic Americana picking) and Evolution Mandolin (bright folk and roots plucks). Basses cover Evolution Vintage Violin Bass (warm short-scale vintage tone), Evolution Roundwound Bass (bright and modern) and Evolution Flatwound Bass (smooth, ideal for jazz and soul).

Who the Orange Tree Samples Kontakt Bundle is for

This Orange Tree Samples Kontakt Bundle is for producers, composers and songwriters who need guitar and bass parts that survive scrutiny. If you write rock, country, funk, jazz or cinematic cues and cannot always book session players, these libraries deliver performances that sit convincingly in a mix. Keyboard-based writers especially benefit: the scripting translates piano-style input into guitar-idiomatic phrasing automatically.

Tech specs and compatibility

The Orange Tree Samples Kontakt Bundle requires the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt 5.8.1 or higher — it does not run in the free Kontakt Player. It works on macOS and Windows 10/11 inside any major DAW. Allow roughly 50–80 GB of disk space for the full installation, with a minimum of 4 GB of RAM (8 GB or more recommended). All libraries are royalty-free and cleared for commercial projects including film and game scoring.

In practice, the Orange Tree Samples Kontakt Bundle changes how you write guitar parts. Instead of programming every strum manually, you play chords and the scripting handles voicings, string selection and articulation switching. The result sounds like a guitarist’s decisions rather than a programmer’s — which is precisely why these libraries keep appearing on commercial records across rock, country, pop and film music.
