Overloud TH-U Premium v2 – Guitar Amp Suite for macOS

Overloud TH-U Premium for macOS puts a complete professional guitar rig inside your Mac. More than one hundred precisely modeled amplifiers, high-resolution cabinet impulse responses, a full pedalboard of effects and thousands of ready-made rigs come together in a single platform — built on Overloud’s Dynamic Interaction Modelling, which captures not just the tone of real amplifiers but the way they respond to your hands.

Static amp models all suffer the same problem: they snapshot a tone but miss the feel. Real amps breathe — they react to pick attack, guitar volume and the push and pull between gain stages. TH-U Premium was designed around that interaction, which is why players describe it as feeling alive under their fingers rather than merely sounding right.

What Overloud TH-U Premium Includes

From vintage cleans to modern high gain, it covers the full history of electric guitar tone — plus bass.

• 100+ amplifier models: vintage and modern clean, crunch and high-gain amps from every era of guitar recording.
• Dynamic Interaction Modelling: Overloud’s proprietary tech captures the non-linear interplay between amp stages for realistic touch response.
• Premium cabinet IRs: high-resolution impulse responses from real studio cabinets, with multiple mics and room options.
• Complete pedalboard: drive, modulation, delay, reverb and utility effects modeled to sit naturally in front of the amps.
• Rig library: thousands of professionally designed amp-and-effects rigs for instant, genre-ready tones.
• Kemper profile import: load Kemper Profiler rig files directly and tap into the huge community profile library.
• Re-amping workflow: record a dry DI and re-amp through any rig later — total flexibility, zero commitment.
• Dedicated bass amps: bass amplifier models and cab IRs for professional low-end guitar tone.

Who Overloud TH-U Premium Is Built For

Home-studio guitarists get record-ready tones without microphones, room treatment or neighbor complaints — DI in, finished guitar out. Session players get a fly-rig’s worth of amps in a laptop for rehearsals, writing and remote work. And producers who do not play guitar get believable, mix-ready guitar parts from MIDI or DI sources without booking a player.

The re-amping workflow deserves emphasis: tracking dry and choosing the amp later removes the most stressful decision in guitar recording. Commit to the performance, not the tone — TH-U lets you change your mind all the way to the final mix.

For recording, the DI-and-re-amp workflow changes how you track guitars. Record parts clean while monitoring through any rig, then audition amplifiers during the mix when you can hear the full arrangement. It removes the pressure of committing to a tone at tracking time — and with over a hundred models plus Kemper imports, option paralysis is the only real danger.

Live players use TH-U differently: as a consistent, fly-friendly rig that sounds the same every night. Either way, the macOS optimization keeps latency low and stability high, which is all a working guitarist asks from software.
